Hey church, our word for this week comes to us from Jesus in John 16:13
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”
I want to talk to you a little today about one of the things the Holy Spirit does for us in our lives. If we seek his help and ask him, he will help us understand the meaning of and how to apply God’s word (scripture) to our lives to make us more effective at telling others of and pointing them to God and what he has done for us all through his son Jesus. With all that the enemy is stirring up in our world today we need all the help and discernment we can get to overcome the fiery darts, temptations and trials that he throws at us. As Paul says in Ephesians 6:12
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
I want to encourage you today as a Christian to tap into the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to help and guide you each day. And as Paul prayed for the Church in Ephesus and I believe for us today as well in Ephesians 1: 17-19
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the glorious Father will give you the Spirit of Wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparable great power for us who believe. That power is the same mighty power which raise Christ from the dead.”
God Bless,
